Do we get to meet our DJ before the event?

Absolutely.  We strongly encourage face to face meetings.  You are entitled to unlimited phone and in person meetings with your entertainer.

 

Do you coordinate with the other event professionals at my event?

Absolutely.  We want your special day to be special.  You should not be concerned with the timing or execution of events during your event.  We will assume this responsibility so you can enjoy your event.

 

I don’t know all the songs and artists, can you read the crowd and play the music accordingly?

Absolutely.  We actually encourage this approach.  We understand that many different age groups can be represented at your event.  We cater to everyone.  We feel that your event should please all your guests.  With our extensive music library and 18 years of experience we make sure the right music is played at the right time.

 

How do I know the entertainer will do what we need them to do?

Parties In Motion personally trains each DJ to be an entertainer while representing our company in a positive way. We guarantee each staff member to be the highest of quality and professionalism. We're confident that our entire staff can please your expectations. Our constant "open lines" of communication enables us to learn your expectations well in advance.  Its not our show, its yours!!

 

Does Parties In Motion carry insurance?

Absolutely.  This is a great question, and is often times overlooked by potential clients. You should always verify that an entertainment company has an insurance policy.  This ensures that all of the other money that you spend on your event is safe and will not result in bad memories or a less than enjoyable occasion.  We carry full equipment and liability insurance.

 

Do you use state-of-the-art equipment?

Absolutely!! We are constantly reinvesting into our equipment.  We use name brands like: Cerwin-Vega, QSC, JVC, Electro Voice, Sony, Gemini, Numark, Denon, Chauvet, and American DJ, just to name a few.

 

Do you carry back up equipment?

Yes, we carry a backup amplifier, CD players, and music selection (computer system)

 

Will the DJ take requests?

Absolutely.  We will always work with you well before your event and discuss your expectations.  You may have a certain play list and/or a do not play list that you want respected, or you may want certain requests to be given from a designated individual.  Either way, we will always honor your requests.

 

Do you provide lighting for the dance area?

Absolutely.  This will be discussed with you in advance.  We have numerous effects to choose from.

 

Can we have the DJ stay longer at the event?

You have contracted us for your event and we are exclusively yours.  If the venue approves and our entertainer is not booked for another event, the party will continue. We encourage you to meet with the venue before hand. They usually do not allow additional time without advance notice.
